An Upside Down Christmas by Expat
A few weeks ago, the husband got a bee in his bonnet about getting an upside down Christmas tree. I had never heard of such a thing, but sure enough, they have become quite the craze here in Illinois and are quickly spreading across the country.
According to the husband guy, an upside down tree would allow for more presents to be tucked beneath it and would put a kink in our Border Collie's habit of herding the lower decorations.
This is the first I have heard of an up-side down Christmas tree.. but after checking out the link ( and a few others from Google) I must admit that I am rather intrigued. Space is an issue for us at Christmas.. and then there is the critter factor. Hmmm.. I think I will check a few stores and see what I can see.
I completely agree as I can't seem to turn my head every time I want to get a glimpse of the thing in the room you are standing in. It was cause a lot of stiff necks and a much needed massage. Hmm - maybe it is a good thing... Not....
I'm a Jew, and even I think it's wrong. Put the gifts on scat-mats and have a normal tree. As Leigh-Ann will tell you, I'm very Xmas tree opinionated (we bought an expensive artificial one on sale after Xmas last year) and think that one should only have tree if it smells good. If not, no tree. I'll eat my words this year, but it's only an experiment. My teeny fiber optic tree is awesome though.
