Deep Thoughts

Why is Cheez Whiz™ found in the refrigerated section of the grocery store in Canada, but in the non-refrigerated area in the United States?

Update:
In light of learning that Cheez Whiz™ is sometimes found in the non-refrigerated areas in Canadian grocery stores, I have added a short poll and bumped this post up to the top of the page.

  1. Then, the cockroaches will eat the Cheez Whiz, and then the only thing left around will be the Cheez Whiz.

    LOL

    I don't know why I think that's so funny.

  3. Jim,
It is funny because it is true! I can not help but think that Cheez Whiz is a by-product of plastic. :p LOL

    Anony,
Interesting about Cheez Whiz being door crashers in Saskatchewan. I remember it being in the refrigerated area when I was last there. I wonder if they changed the formula and now it can survive indefinitely?

Anybody want to do a little homework and see where the Cheez Whiz is kept at their local grocery store?

  6. Oops! Sorry Natooke! I wonder if it is possible to ship Cheez Whiz overseas? LOL

At one grocery store here, the Cheez Whiz is kept on a shelf across from the dairy department. The spray cheese is located next to it. The chip aisle would make sense though.
