In need of yet another reason to hate Faux News?
Here it is:
Un-Happy Birthday, Canada.
Impressive hate speech, isn't it? Here is my take on it.
A few years ago, when the war with Iraq began, it was common for Bush supporters to call those who opposed the war "un-American". As support for the war
continues to wane in the US (to the point where
pep rallies are required), those same supporters are now turning outside of the US with their name calling. Of course, the standard insult of "un-American" can not apply, so the new catchphrase of the day is "anti-Americanism".
What better way to heal a divided country than over the notion that everything you pride yourself on as a nation is under attack?
Whoa, anyone else sensing some déjà vu?
Note to John Gibson:Canada can, indeed, set its own policy independent of the US of A, you jackass.
