An Invitation from Foreign Affairs Canada
[- ]
Canadian Expatriates, its contributors, and readers have been invited by
Foreign Affairs Canada to participate in a series of eDiscussions. The current topic is “
Showcasing Canadian Culture and Know-How Abroad ”.
We are asked to consider the following questions:
What role does Canadian culture and know-how play in our foreign policy?
How might the government best promote Canadian talent and expertise in the world?
The eDiscussion runs from April 4 to May 6, 2005. At its conclusion, a summary of the discussion will be sent to senior policy planners .
The Expat admin team encourages its readers to join in the eDiscussion at the Canadian International Policy website .

For Mature Audiences
by Expat
A new study is painting Canada as "
one big happy nation " with 96% of respondents describing themselves as "happy".
This is interesting news in light of another recent study, which claims that 88% of Canadians rate themselves as
being dull in bed .
Perhaps the two are unrelated?
Very sharp blog...lots of potential. Ilike the fact that it's made for us Canadians. Keep it up. How about adding mine to the Blog list? I'll be doing the same if that's cool with you guys. Cheers
Thanks Mike! I added you to the Expat list. I look forward to keeping up with you! :o)
It sounds to me like both studies are tapping into the "Canadians don't like to offend" issue. Perhaps the 80% who think they are a bore in bed are just concerned with making themselves stick out for a range of high expectations. I, for one, think I am great in bed... however I have been out of the country long enough to know that confidence doesn't mean you are insulting your neighbor. ;) hmmmm making such a bold statement has me a bit shy now. heehe
